Clare began her career in public accounting in 2006, when she joined D&S as an intern, and started full-time as a tax associate in 2008. In 2019, she was promoted to principal.
Clare provides accounting, tax compliance, and business consulting services to a broad base of clients, including closely held businesses and their owners, multi-state pass-through entities, and high-net-worth individuals. She has worked with real estate partnerships, professional service providers, distribution companies, and family businesses.
Clare assisted in the sale of a family business to a private equity firm, including the tax compliance work both before and after the sale. She has also assisted numerous clients with federal, state, and local tax audits, including extensive research and analysis of complex tax issues.
Clare received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Saint Joseph’s University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program. Clare is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
Clare enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, John, reside in the Queen Village neighborhood of Center City Philadelphia with their daughter.
