Chris began his public accounting career in 2002 as an intern with an accounting firm in Washington, D.C., while pursuing his undergraduate degree.
Chris provides accounting, tax planning, tax compliance, business consulting and litigation support services to a broad base of clients, including C-corporations and S-corporations, closely held businesses and their owners, large partnerships, high-net-worth individuals and estates and trusts. He frequently works with clients that have multistate tax, ASC740 and FIN 48 and IRC Section 382 issues.
Chris has serviced clients in industries including professional services, educational services, healthcare, investment partnerships, real estate investors and manufacturers. Recently, he was part of the D&S team that serviced a publicly traded REIT, both before and after a transition of ownership.
Prior to joining D&S in 2007, Chris was a senior associate for an accounting firm in Chicago, where he provided both accounting and tax compliance services to closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family office groups. Chris was promoted to managing associate in 2010 and to principal in 2018.
Chris received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from George Washington University, where he graduated cum laude. He also earned a Master of Taxation degree from DePaul University.
Chris is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania (PICPA) Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves on the PICPA and Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce State Taxation Committees and is a 2013 winner of the PICPA Young Leaders Award.
Chris was born and raised in Southern New Jersey and currently resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Chris is an avid nature photographer and enjoys spending time traveling and discovering new locations to photograph. He also enjoys spending time cooking gourmet meals and baking for family and friends.
