Bruce is one of the founding shareholders of D&S. He has been practicing in the field of public accounting since 1979 as a tax generalist with an extensive background in tax and financial planning for closely held businesses and individuals. He also has experience in trust taxation and planning, partnership taxation and passive activity losses. In addition to his individual clients, he services a diverse group of businesses, including real estate companies, distributors, and professional service organizations.
Since beginning his career in the Los Angeles office of Arthur Anderson, Bruce joined the tax department in the Philadelphia office of Laventhol & Horwath, where he ultimately became a tax manager. During his career, he has presented on a variety of tax subjects as part of continuing professional education programs.
Bruce received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from George Washington University and a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Bruce resides in Maple Glen, Pennsylvania, with his wife Jodi who works part time as the editor of a Jewish genealogical journal.
Raised on the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, Bruce has always been a sports enthusiast. He also learned the game of golf as a child and enjoys spending time with his family.
Bruce has participated in many fundraising activities for the American Cancer Society over the years. He also supports Jodi in her efforts as an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
