Mark Sobel, CPA, JD, LLMProfile Mark contributed to the establishment of Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. in 1990 as one of the firm’s founding shareholders. He had previously worked at Laventhol & Horwath (L & H) as a tax manager in the Philadelphia office. While there, he also taught at Temple University School of Law as an adjunct professor. His work experience prior to L & H included a position at a former Big Eight firm and a stint at the Internal Revenue Service. Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Drexel University, with a major in accounting. He also earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University School of Law. In addition, he holds a Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor License. Mark and two other shareholders of Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. are also partners in the law firm of Shaiman, Drucker, Beckman, Sobel & Stutman, LLP. Mark is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars and is licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court. Personal Information Mark’s interests include reading both political and historical novels. He is also an avid runner who competes in various South Jersey 5K runs. Mark spends a considerable amount of time involved in charitable and religious organizations. Currently, he is a board member of his synagogue and of the local Boy Scout Troop in Haddonfield. In addition, he is treasurer of the Nationalities Services Committee, a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia, which assists immigrants with settling in the United States. He has received service awards form the Boy Scouts of America, as well as from the Jewish Community Relations Council, where he previously served on the board. |
