Geoffrey L. Mesko, CPA, MTProfileGeoff began his career in public accounting in 2003, while participating in an internship at a regional accounting firm. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Geoff was able to further his education with on the job work experience as a staff accountant at his family’s glass business, which has been in existence for approximately eighty years. He began his career at Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. (D&S) in 2004 as an intern and has quickly advanced in his career. In January 2012, Geoff became the newest Shareholder at D&S. Geoff provides accounting, tax compliance and business consulting services to a broad base of clients, including closely held businesses and their owners, partnerships, consolidated corporations, individuals, and tax-exempt entities, including private foundations. He frequently works with clients in the real estate and private equity industries and has developed a focus in partnership taxation. Geoff was part of the D&S team that serviced a publicly traded REIT both before and after a transition of ownership. Most recently, Geoff advised a family-owned business client in connection with the sale of their company to a private equity fund. Geoff received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University, where he majored in accounting and finance and graduated magna cum laude. He received a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Personal InformationGeoff was born and raised in Scranton, PA and currently resides in Center City, Philadelphia with his wife Rachel and son Joseph. Geoff is a member of The Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Geoff and his family enjoy traveling to Italy where they take pleasure in the history, culture, and gastronomy of Italy’s various regions. |
